Donald “Donnie” Mason is a certified Physician Assistant with over 15 years of experience. He served in the United States Air Force for 25 years, completing the Interservice Physician Assistant Program (IPAP) in 2008. During his military career, Donnie gained extensive experience in family medicine, emergency medicine, and academics. His service took him to Nebraska, Korea, Hawaii, Germany, Washington, Texas, Maryland, Nevada, Florida, Curacao, Laos, Vietnam, and the Middle East. After retiring from the Air Force in 2018, he continued to work in family medicine and urgent care.

In June 2022, Donnie relocated to Arizona and became an active member of the Arizona State Association of Physician Assistants, the Association of PA’s in Psychiatry, and the American Academy of Physician Assistants. He earned a Doctor of Medical Science (DMSc) in Psychiatry from Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions in 2023. Additionally, Donnie holds a Certificate of Added Qualification (CAQ) in Psychiatry from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA). This certification requires a minimum of 2000 hours of clinical practice in psychiatry and passing a rigorous examination.

Donnie continues to have a passion for treating patients who suffer from mental illness and provides a patient centered approach in reaching their treatment goals and that’s why he’s partnered with Dynamis Counseling.
